Robert Norman Cole Jr.

Robert Norman Cole Jr. died Oct. 2. Mr. Cole was born in Monte Vista, Colo. His family moved to Coalinga and then to Turlock. He graduated from Turlock High School in 1988. He attended Modesto Junior College and worked at Richland Market before joining the U.S. Navy.

Mr. Cole is survived by his wife, Vilma Aliniabo Cole; sister, Darla Marie Cole of Los Angeles; and aunts, Norma Cole-Clerici of Crockett and Darlene Powers-Sigman of Amherst, Ohio.

A memorial mass will be said at 11 a.m. Oct. 26 at All Saints Catholic Church in Turlock. Interment will be held at 11 a.m. Oct. 29 at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Fred Cole and Wilma Alice Silva-Cole of Coalinga and his parents, Robert Norman Cole Sr. and Christine Maria Cole.
